Bless the LORD, O my soul; all that is within me, bless His holy name. Psalm 103:1

Statement of Beliefs

The Bible

The Bible is inspired by God and therefore fully true. It is the authority for all we believe and practice. (2 Timothy 3:16-17)

One God

There is one God. He as one God consists of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. He is the creator of all that is. He is eternal, perfect, all powerful, all knowing, and present everywhere at all times. (Deuteronomy 6:4; 2 Corinthians 13:14)

Jesus Christ

Jesus Christ is both Son of God and God the Son. He was born of a virgin. He lived a sinlessly perfect life. He was crucified to pay for the sins of the world. He was raised from the dead and lives eternally. (1 Corinthians 15:3)

The Holy Spirit

The Holy Spirit is God Himself and presently active in the world in the work of convicting, convincing, and comforting. (John 14:16-17)

Mankind

All of Mankind, both male and female, was created in the image of God. In this image of God, men and women were given the capacity for fellowship with God but fell from this fellowship because of their sin. (Romans 5:12)

Salvation

The gift of Salvation is given by grace alone and received by faith alone. Good works cannot earn salvation, but they are the evidence of genuine faith (Ephesians 2:8-10; James 2:14).

The Church

The Church consists of all who have trusted Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord. God intends that local churches be established throughout the world for the purpose of making disciples of Jesus Christ. (Matthew 16:16-18)

New Heaven & Earth

When Jesus returns, He will establish a New Heaven and Earth. All who have persisted in rejecting Him will be eternally separated from God. All who have received His gift of salvation will live eternally in fellowship with Him. (2 Peter 3:10-13; Matthew 25:31-43)
