Chet & Jeanie Taylor

Chet grew up in Austin, Texas and graduated from the University of Texas in 1983. He answered the call to ministry when he was 19 years old. He received Master of Divinity and Ph.D. degrees from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, TX. He served as Lead Pastor of Lakeview Fellowship for thirty-three years before beginning Living in the Blessing Ministries. Chet’s greatest desire is to share the gospel and make disciples. In his spare time he enjoys all sports, traveling, and spending time with his wife and family, especially his grandkids: Liam, Beckham, Madi Lou & Vivienne.

Jeanie grew up in Andrews, TX and attended Angelo State University before being transferred with GTE to Austin, TX where she later met Chet. They have been married 39 years and have 3 adult children, a son-in-law & daughter-in-law, and four grandchildren. Jeanie served alongside her husband throughout their thirty-three years at Lakeview in women’s, youth and children’s ministries. She has a heart for evangelism and has traveled to many countries sharing the gospel. She loves to play pickleball, read Bob Goff books, encourage others on social media through her blog, and spend time with her family. She also loves being GiGi to her precious grandchildren!
