In Ps 33:12 we read:
Blessed
is the nation whose God is the LORD…
Clearly,
God wishes to bless entire nations. We see this also in Ps. 67:1-2:
May
God be gracious to us and bless us,
and cause His face
to shine upon us,
that
Your ways may be known on earth,
Your salvation among
all nations.
This
passage shows us how we can bless the nations. It begins with experiencing God’s
blessing in our lives. This is what moves us to share His blessing with the
nations, and it’s what moves the nations to seek the blessing they see in us.
How
will this happen?
We
must make the LORD our God. To the extent we do this, we will grow in our
knowledge and experience of each of the following:
The
Glory of Creation
The
Grace of Life
The
Gift of Family
The
Gospel of the Kingdom
To the extent we grow in our knowledge and experience
of each of these, we will live in the blessing that enables us to bless the
nations.
