The
life of blessing begins with seeing God as He is. And seeing God as He is
begins with seeing Him as the Creator of the heavens and the earth. It
shouldn’t surprise us, then, that the Bible would begin with these words:
In
the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. (Gen. 1:1)
What we believe about
origins affects everything about how we think and live. Therefore, our goal in
this section is to provide evidences in creation itself for a Creator. Nature
itself gives every evidence of requiring a supernatural origin, and we want to
provide more than evidences; we want to provide powerful and beautiful examples
of creation reveals God’s glory. These examples deepen our faith, inspire us to
worship, and move us to share the glory of God’s creation with others.
